In the current political climate, there is a lot of anger and frustration among the general electorate. On the left side politically, the prevailing argument is we need government to support and supply our needs. Whereas on the political right, they believe the government is meant to support the will of the people, not support the people. The formation of the TEA party as it is known was in response to elevated taxes levied against the American tax-payer. Taxed Enough Already is the slogan that the organizers use as the rallying cry for the movement that wants reduced taxes and less government intervention in their everyday lives. Many of the supporters also want less in the way of business regulations. Even though the TEA party doesn’t actually field any candidates corporately, they do support individuals who best represent their ideals. Unlike the Democratic or Republican parties, the TEA party is not a registered political organization; instead, it is comprised of individuals with varying political agendas. Many of the so-called members are in fact fiscally ultra-conservative people who believe the government spends too much money. As long as people believe that there are too many taxes, there will be a TEA party.
